Step1:Select a profile pic that you want to post in chat box

Step2:Now open that image in a new tab.

Step4:Now copy the middle number 100001612844404
and add two square brackets to that number [[100001612844404]] and paste this code in facebook chat.Thats it

MAKE BEST USE OF VLC PLAYER

VLC is the most popular media player because it plays everything of almost every format .But VLC can do a lot of other things as well as which normal user do not know about this. Check ur knowledge how many of these listed below you knew, and how many you did not.

1.) Rip DVDs: VLC includes a basic DVD ripper. You probably would never use it when there are better DVD rippers available, but it helps to know that you can in fact, get a decent quality DVD rip with VLC. To rip a movie follow these steps: Go to the Media menu and choose Convert/Save. Click on the Disc tab.

* Here you can adjust the Starting Position and rip only specific titles or chapters.
* Enter file name making sure to end with .MPG, and start ripping.
* Click Save.
* Its Done.

2.)  Record videos: With the new VLC, you can record videos during playback. The record button is hidden by default. To see it, click on View>Advanced Control. The record button will now appear. Clicking on the button while playing a movie or video will start recording. Clicking again will stop recording.

3.) Play RAR files: Do you know VLC can play videos zipped inside RAR files? They play like normal video files and you can even use the seek bar. If the RAR file is split into several files, no problem. Just load the first part (.part001.rar ) and it will automatically take the rest of the parts and play the whole file.

4.)  Play in ASCII mode: VLC media player has an amusing ability, to playback movies in ASCII art. To enable ASCII mode, open VLC media player and click on Tools>Preferences. Open the section “Video” section and under “Output” select “Color ASCII art video output” from the drop down menu. Save it. Now play any video file to enjoy the ASCII art.

5.) Listen to online radio: VLC includes hundreds of Shoutcast radio stations. You just need to enable it through Media>Services Discovery>Shoutcast radio listings. Now, open the Playlist and browse through the stations.

6.) Convert Audio and Video formats: In VLC you can convert video and audio files from one format to another. Several different formats are supported like MP4, WMV, AVI, OGG, MP3 etc. To access the converter:

* Go to Media>Convert/Save.
* Load the file you want to convert using the Add button and click Convert.
* Now choose the output format and output file location.

7.) Download YouTube and other online videos: First grab the URL of the YouTube video page. Now click on Media>Open Network stream. Paste the URL and click Play.
Once VLC starts streaming the video, click Tools>Codec Information and at the bottom of the window you will see a Location box. Copy the URL and paste it on your browser’s address bar. The browser will now download the file which you can save it to your hard disk. Alternatively, you can record the video.

Create Keyboard Shortcut For Any Program

Shortcuts are a fast and a simple method to launch applications.Like for opening task manager we useCtrl+Shift+Esc.Everyone has different set of programs that they use frequently.By using this trick you can create a custom shortcut for any program.We don’t need any third party software to create these shortcuts.You can use this trick in Windows Xp,Vista and Windows 7.

Now I will show you how you can create a Custom Shortcut for Adobe Photoshop and by using the same process you can create custom shortcut for any program.

• Click on Start button and type the name of the program (In our case itsphotoshop)
• Now right click on the program and click on Properties
• In the Shortcut Key field type any key that you want to use as shortcut.(I will use Pfor photoshop)
• Now  your custom shortcut for this program will be Ctrl+Alt+Key (So my shortcut is Ctrl+Alt+P for photoshop)
• Press Ok button to save these changes and then close the dialog box.
• Now you can use the custom shortcut to launch  the program.
You can create as many shortcuts for as many programs as you want.,

SET A WALLPAPER TO UR PENDRIVE

Are you bored of viewing the same white background in your USB pen drive, here is a trick where you can easily set colorful wallpapers on your USB background.


For that you need the following code:-

Copy and paste it in a notepad file, and specify the image file name (here it is 123.bmp), then save it in your memory stick or pendrive as
your pendrive  will show background wallpaper

1)OPEN RUN -->TYPE REGEDIT -->HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Control Panel\Desktop

Now open and search for "MENUSHOWDELAY" and right click it and modify the string value to near by 100

This trick deals with windows registry so be careful while changing the values  

INCREASE YOUR NET SPEED

Windows uses 20% of your bandwidth Here's how to Get it back

A nice little tweak for XP. Microsoft reserve 20% of your available bandwidth for their own purposes (suspect for updates and interrogating your machine etc..)

Here's how to get it back:

Click Start-->Run-->type "gpedit.msc" without the "

This opens the group policy editor. Then go to:

Local Computer Policy-->Computer Configuration-->Administrative Templates-->Network-->QOS Packet Scheduler-->Limit Reservable Bandwidth

Double click on Limit Reservable bandwidth. It will say it is not configured, but the truth is under the 'Explain' tab :

Right click on it and choose edit there you will find three options like disabled,enable,not configured,choose enable .

There you will find a box bandwidth 20% value change that to 0%

This will allow the system to reserve nothing, rather than the default 20%.
